COP-83ER moves the rainproof COP pendant range up to four direction buttons. With an ON button and a mushroom-head emergency stop as well, the station controls two motion axes — typically long travel and cross travel, or a hoist with a separate travel drive.
Four direction buttons for two-axis motion
The four direction buttons are arranged as two pairs, each pair carrying opposite arrow legends. That layout maps naturally onto two independent motions: the operator keeps the two directions of one axis under adjacent fingers, so switching between axes does not require looking down at the pendant.
A separate ON button keeps the start action apart from the movement buttons, and the emergency stop sits at the head of the column for immediate reach.
Emergency stop at the operating position
The red mushroom-head emergency stop is a twist-release actuator with the release direction marked on the cap. As with any emergency stop, the circuit category, wiring and functional testing must be designed for the machine and verified during commissioning.
Rainproof enclosure
The pendant is a rainproof design in a high-visibility yellow housing with a dark base, and the cable leaves through a moulded strain-relief boot at the top so running water is carried away from the entry.
The station is intended for outdoor and wet service positions on cranes and hoists. Where continuous spray, wash-down or immersion is involved, confirm the required ingress rating with IEHC before ordering.
