COP-84ER is the longest station in the rainproof COP pendant family. Eight direction buttons, arranged in four opposing pairs, sit below an ON button and a mushroom-head emergency stop in a single slim, hand-held enclosure.
Eight direction buttons for multi-motion machinery
The four button pairs each carry opposite arrow legends, so the station can address four independent motions from one hand-held point. That suits machines where an operator must sequence several movements — for example a crane with hoist, long travel and cross travel plus an auxiliary axis, or a machine with several powered functions driven from one station.
Keeping all motions on a single pendant removes the need to move between control boxes mid-manoeuvre, and the long, slim body is shaped to be held along the forearm so the full button column stays within reach of one hand.
Emergency stop at the operating position
The red mushroom-head emergency stop is the first actuator at the head of the column, so it can be struck without adjusting grip. It is a twist-release type with the release direction marked on the cap.
Emergency stop circuit design, wiring category and functional testing remain part of the machine safety function and must follow the applicable requirements for the installation.
Rainproof enclosure
The station is a rainproof design in a high-visibility yellow enclosure with a dark base. The cable leaves through a moulded strain-relief boot at the top, directing water away from the entry and relieving strain on the terminations.
