Description
The YJ coaxial electric chain hoist is built for installations where vertical space, not capacity, is the limiting factor. Motor, reducer and electronic control are combined in one optimised body, so the hoist occupies less height above the load and the hook can be raised further inside a confined space.
When a coaxial arrangement is the right choice
Choose the coaxial version where the lifting height above the hook is restricted — under a low structural beam, inside a machine frame, on a single-station workstation, or where equipment must be lifted close to the ceiling. Because the drive train is integrated rather than stacked, less of the available headroom is consumed by the hoist itself.
The hoist can be used on its own or combined with monorail hoists and cantilever (jib) arrangements. Typical duties are production-line assembly, single-station hoisting and wind-power equipment maintenance.
Integrated drive and control
The optimised body pairs a high-performance motor with a matched reducer and a compact electronic control system. Integrating the three into one housing reduces the number of external couplings and the installation envelope, and it keeps the load path short so the hook travels closer to the structure.
Maintenance access
The body combines a rigid frame with a flexible internal layout, so components can be replaced quickly without dismantling the complete hoist. Electrical components and the brake can be inspected in place, which shortens fault-finding and reduces downtime on a single-station installation where the hoist is on the critical path.
Voltage and control options
Input voltage is selectable across 110 V to 480 V, and the control circuit uses a low safety voltage — 36 V as standard, with 24 V or 48 V available as options. That range allows one hoist family to be supplied for different markets and for plants running more than one supply standard.

Information IEHC needs to quote
Capacity alone does not determine the correct hoist. Send the rated load including any below-the-hook lifting device, the required hook travel, the available headroom, the supporting beam or structure, the duty the hoist will see (lifts per hour and daily running time), the supply voltage and frequency, the control voltage and method, the operating environment, and whether a fixed or travelling arrangement is required.
Lifting height can be customized, so state the vertical travel you actually need rather than selecting from the standard column alone.
Ordering the coaxial hoist from IEHC
IEHC (Zhejiang iehc Electrical Technology Co., Ltd) has manufactured industrial electrical equipment in Yueqing, Zhejiang since 2003 and holds CE certification across its product lines.
Send the rated load, hook travel, headroom limit, beam details, duty, supply and control voltage. If the installation is not headroom-critical, compare the YJ electric chain hoist (Running Type), YJ electric chain hoist (Low Headroom), YJ electric chain hoist (Fixed Type) configurations before finalising the layout. Send your specification to IEHC for a configuration check, or review the full electric chain hoist range.
FAQ
What is a coaxial electric chain hoist used for?
It suits installations where vertical clearance is limited, because the integrated motor, reducer and control body consumes less headroom and allows the hook to be raised closer to the structure.
Which capacities are available in the coaxial range?
The coaxial range covers YJ250, YJ500 and YJ1000 models at 250 kg, 500 kg and 1000 kg rated capacity, all rated M5.
What voltage does the hoist run on?
Input voltage is selectable between 110 V and 480 V, with a low-voltage control circuit using 36 V as standard and 24 V or 48 V available as options.
Can the lifting height be changed?
Yes. Lifting height can be customized — send the required hook travel with your enquiry.
How is the hoist maintained?
Components can be replaced without dismantling the complete hoist, so electrical parts and the brake can be inspected in place, which shortens fault-finding and reduces downtime.
